About the event

Stacey Sargeant is an incredibly talented actor, writer, dancer, singer and overall creator. Her brilliant solo show chronicles her journey to self-acceptance and self-love, and we are excited to team up to launch a Culture Clinic for students ages 16+!  The Clinic is called Though I'm Not Perfect: Building Self-Esteem to Catch Your Dreams inspired by Stacey's award-winning short documentary. Her Clinic will begin a dialogue around the connection between self-esteem and dream fulfillment.   By using examples from her own life, Stacey will demonstrate how important communication is through our self-talk and how it directly affects our self-esteem and what we believe we can be, do, or have.   Students will walk away with tools and strategies to use in their own life to:

  • Keep moving towards their dreams in spite of set backs
  • Show how set backs build strength
  • Reveal their true life's purpose
